I hope the election isn't close or they're going to be counting and recounting and voting and revoting in the East Coast Blue States until 2016. Dodgy

All those people mad at the government for not getting their supplies to them fast enough. I'm pretty sure there was more than adequate warning about this storm. More than enough time to get to the store, and there's more than enough information out there about what types of supplies to get, and yet these idiots are still looking to the nanny government for handouts.

There is not a lot of sympathy here in NJ for those that didn't heed the warning to evacuate. Even the Governor told people that if they didn't evacuate they would be stuck on their own for a few days.

That was my first thought when I saw where Sandy was going to do the most damage. If O loses, there will be unending challenges, revotes, and massive blame for the lack of alternate voting facilities. MSM is already "discussing" the possibility of postponing the election.

Those who are complaining about the "slow response" need only to ask themselves why they thought Obama's magic wand was gonna trump the power of nature. If they're gonna blame the system for not taking care of them, they need to remind themselves who is in charge of the system right now. Hint: it ain't Romney. Anim_doh

Depends on how much the media spins "how much better than Bush" he was at handling this disaster. I suspect as much as they went after Bush for his "inability to act" they will praise Obama for things not being as bad as they could have been.

How soon they forget

It took Barack Obama fourteen days to visit the gulf coast after the BP oil spill.
Obama declined to visit Tennessee after the historic 2010 1000 year floods.
Obama ignored the Texas wildfires when over 400 homes were lost.
Obama ignored the calls for help from Benghazi.

Joplin, MO is probably mostly Republican.
Obama hates the oil industry.
Tennessee I believe is a Red State
Texas is a Red State
Can't let a good crisis go to waste (Benghazi).

I'm sure that Obama will be happy to visit and support his "base" in areas of Philly, NJ and NY.

He needs NYC to get back into order before Tuesday so he can go back on the View and Letterman.

These are today's gallup figures.

It has CLEARLY helped Obama's favorability, but it has not moved Gallups voting numbers at all:

Obama Approval 51%+3
Obama Disapproval 44%-4

REGISTERED VOTERS

Obama48%-
Romney48%+1

7-day rolling average
LIKELY VOTERS

Romney51%+1
Obama46%

Romney is still holding that 5 point lead and over 50%. As i have pointed out many times here, no candidate has ever lost the presidential election after showing over 50% in the final stages of the election, dating back to 1936.

Romney has been over 50% for over 2 weeks straight.

If you choose to walk around in the dark, you might bump your shin.

The folks in damage-susceptible areas were warned for days. If they have no food, it's because they either think they're smarter than the average bear, or because they feel entitled to special efforts reserved for those too stupid to prepare. If they have no water, well, same answer applies.

Wanna tough it out? No prob...just be as tough AFTERWARDS as well. Crybabies.

Like Slick at the Ron Brown funeral, this is nothing more than a photo Op. Other than his Mantra followers, People are onto him.
He couldn't give a Raddatz, after all most of those beachfront homes that were destroyed were 1%ers.

He probably tipped a beer with all the Revs. (Jessee, Al, Louie and Wright) for the outcome, 1%ers destroyed faster than he could do it.
