Winchester 1300 anyone?

Anyone have any Winchester 1300 pics to inspire me?  I'm planning on adding a few home defense basics to mine.

Since no one ever tried to identify it in the other place...

I am told and have observed that the Win 1300 is the one pump that is truly reliable with the Aguila 1 3/4" mini slugs, of which a standard length mag tube will hold a dozen or more.

For that reason alone, this is a very cool model gun to own!

That sounds cool. I know of those slugs but have never tried them.

It's sporting a 22" vent rib barrel now with screw in chokes. I don't know if an 18" barrel would be that much more convenient.

I'll have to see what mag extensions are available. I think that and a light will be enough.

They have very little recoil, still fire a big slug and hit with 1300+ fpe of energy (equivalent energy to typical .44 magnum or hot 5.56mm), and like i said, the gun holds a whole ton of them. I'd definitely use that load for defense if i was a Win 1300 owner. With a 22" bbl and extended mag tube the gun will probably hold 18 of them.

What mag extension is that and are you happy with how it works?

No extension, that's factory.  That is the Defender model, 7+1 and an 18.5" barrel.

I don't have pics to put up but I do own two 1300's.

I bought my first with the standard tube and long barrel for clays. Then when I moved out on my own I picked up the "home defender" model with the 18.5 barrel and 7+1 tube.

They have both served me very well and are a dream to shoot. Very fast follow up shots with the "speed pump" design.
