[WTB] AR15 Lower - Stripped or Complete
#1
Looking for a lower - stripped, w/LPK installed, or complete - so I can eventually slap my 22 upper on instead of swapping it back and forth on my .223 lower.

Not looking for anything high-end/spendy, but less interest in known low-end, or "never heard of" brands.

If you have a decent stripped lower you got on sale for $60 and haven't done anything with it, I'll give you $100* for it.

If you have a completed lower, let me know what you want for it. Truth be told, I'd prefer a lower that already has the LPK installed so I don't have to eff around with it.
The ideal candidate would have a RRA 2-stage trigger. (what I already have in my other rifle)
If complete, standard Mil-Spec stock is fine for what I'm using it for.

Prefer private sale.
I made up my mind a few years ago that I will always first try private sale of long guns before resorting to the whole FFL thing.
If it's something I want badly enough and can't locate as a legal, private sale, I will then opt for the FFL transaction.
I'm happy to show proof of PA residency and my retired pafoa forum moderator credentials. Wink

Thanks!

*Just an example - actual offer may be more/less depending on specific lower offered up. It's ridiculous that I even have to post this, but if I didn't someone would be pissed that I won't "honor" my offer of $100 for an out of spec, plastic POS lower.

Prefer private sale. Forgot to mention that.

Thank you for pointing out the online option anyway. Smile

INB4 someone illegally buys a lower for $60 with the intent to flip it to EM for a $40 profit. Big Grin

EM, why not buy an 80% lower? There's a guy selling them on gunBROKEr for $35. I bought one myself. I'll sell it to you for $75. Big Grin

If I knew anything at all about 80% lowers I'd consider taking you up on your fake offer.

Wink

I was going to buy a complete lower from someone earlier today, but it was an AR FIFTEEN lower, and I found some (lots of) bad reviews in a quick search, so I said I'd buy only if he would give me the opportunity to check fitment upon receiving it and if it didn't work on my upper, I'd ship back on my dime for refund. He didn't want to and I don't have the money to risk getting burned.
I got screwed on those "milspec" E-LANDER magazines, so I'm in no rush to buy more junk.

If you were closer to me, I'd offer to let you use my milling machine at work and teach you how to complete it for free. And that's not a fake offer.

I'm considering tossing up a new, stripped, never had a LPK in it, PAFOA lower for trade for two inexpensive stripped lowers, or a complete/semi-complete lower.

It's one of the original, consecutively numbered, limited-run, laser-engraved lowers from the group buy back in 2007/2008(?)

Not sure yet. Would sort of be cool to keep it new.

I know you said you'd prefer private sale, but hey, it's been over 6 months now and you still don't have one.

Palmetto State Armory has 2 different "blemished" lowers for $49.99 and a Gadsden flag engraved lower for $99 and other choices.

I haven't bought anything gun related in all that time until the three boxes of ammo I picked up in Wmart last week.

I still need to watch what I'm spending, but I can at least pick up a few small things right now, and no, I'm still not interested in shipping a rifle part to an FFL when I don't need to if I buy it legally from a PA resident.
