Taking a shot in the dark here. Looking for a set of RPK wood handguards upper and lower. Possibly grip too. Let me know what you have. Not looking for show pieces, for around a hundred bucks I can get a set from ironwood designs.

I don't have a spare set of grips, but I can definitely recommend Ironwood Designs. I bought a full M76 stock set for my O-PAP. (no more cheek slap!) The stock only took some light sanding on the tang to get it to fit properly and the wood looks fantastic. In fact it looks a little too good for an AK if you know what I mean.

I'd post a picture, but my son keeps borrowing it from me. I think his plan is to keep it out of sight and wait until my memory goes so he can keep it.
Ammunition, it's the new lead bullion. Buy it cheap and stack it deep.

How's the ordering process? It looks like you have to print and fill out a form and mail it in? Do they take orders over the phone? Do they make the parts when you order them or do they keep stock of what's listed on their website?

I really like the looks of their stuff from what I could find and would love finishing the wood myself. Kind of makes me half tempted to carve out my own handguards too though.

I ordered over the phone with a CC (if I remember right) and it took about a week to ship so I'm guessing they carve them after you order them. The VEPR stuff is way more popular than the PAPs so they may keep some stock on them.

Last bump for the weekend, I'll probably order the Ironwood Designs handguards on Monday.
