Several Wyoming lawmakers are proposing legislation designed to protect gun-owners from any potential federal firearm ban. The “Firearms Protection Act” bill, introduced this week, would make any federal law banning semi-automatic firearms or limiting the size of gun magazines unenforceable within the state’s boundaries.

This crap never impresses me because they never actually pass it. If they do id be thrilled. Montana passed the one law but we still havent had a test case.

Here's a serious question. So what if it is passed? Doesn't federal laws supercede state laws? Would the FBI/ATF/TLA* really not arrest someone on those charges because a state law says they can't?

Good question. Technically there would be no interstate commerce which is the stated reason behind a lot of the federal law. That being the case the argument could be made that it is a states right's issue at that point.
